One type of uniform that is very much recognizable is that of the chef. Although there are really no exact standards as to the uniforms that chefs have to worn, still there are some common articles that make the uniforms constant.

Another interesting feature of the chefs hat is the number of pleats it has. Supposed to denote how many ways a chef can cook an egg, the pleats on the toque usually number one hundred.
